Freshers Week

Boathouse BBQDuring Fresher’s Week we have stands in the Sports Freshers Fair which can be found on the second floor of the Students Union between 10am and 4pm Tuesday 22nd and Wednesday 23rd September. We will be the second stall in on the left (look for a mass of purple lycra clad people).

We will be running taster sessions towards the end of Freshers Week, giving you the opportunity to speak to current members and get out on the water. Transport from Owens Park will be provided. Refreshments and BBQ food will also be available.

There will be chance to sign up for these taster sessions at the Sports Freshers Fair. We will also have a stall in Owen’s Park Courtyard on Tuesday 22nd and Wednesday 23rd September.

Once term starts we have regular Circuit Training Sessions twice weekly at the Armitage Centre behind Owens Park in fallowfield. You can find us at the Armitage Centre on Tuesdays at 6:00pm until 7:00pm. or Thursdays at 7:00pm until 8:00pm.

Its a great opportunity to meet members and make some more friends. We hope to see you there – you can just come to chat or feel free to try our training sessions anytime throughout term.
